3.1 CQCP Organization and Content
Sama Global CQCPs are organized to fully meet the provisions of the UFGS, Division 01,
Section 1451A –Contractor Quality Control. The CQCP includes the following sections:

♦ Authorities, Responsibilities, and Duties
♦ Procurement and Subcontractors
♦ Customer Supplied Material and Equipment
♦ Construction QC
♦ Design QC
♦ Inspection and Testing
♦ Control and Prevention of Nonconforming Material
♦ Corrective and Preventative Action Plan
♦ Documentation (including QC Forms and Reports)
♦ Internal Quality Audits
♦ Training
♦ Customer Interface/Communications
The following sections summarize the content of the Sama Global CQCP.
3.1.1 Sama Global Quality Program
An introduction and overview of Quality Management Program are provided, including a summary of the
information provided in this QMP.
3.1.2 Authority/Responsibilities and Duties
The responsibilities of each participant in the Quality Management Program are outlined, starting with
Sama Global's Corporate Quality Director. A table outlining authority and duties pertaining to the Quality
Management Program is included. The organizational independence of the QC function at Sama Global is
emphasized.
3.1.3 Procurement and Subcontractors
This section provides that the quality of goods and services supplied by Sama Global meet project
requirements. Procurement from outside sources is carefully planned and controlled; the steps to be
followed for procurement are specified in this section of the CQCP.
